Geelong Connected Communities is pleased to announce Signature Homes Geelong as one of its new Major Sponsors.

Signature Homes Geelong has agreed to provide Geelong Connected Communities with significant financial support for the next four years.

This generous contribution will ensure GCC can continue on its mission to KEEP GEELONG STRONG by providing grants to community organisations and non-for-profit groups throughout our great city.

Since its inception, Geelong Connected Communities has injected nearly $1.8 million back into Geelong through 604 grants to community organisations under 10 different categories including ARTS & CULTURE, SPORT, COMMUNITY PROJECTS and more.

The majority of this money is delivered in small grants of less than $5,000, and Signature Homes Geelong Director Gary Watts says that philosophy is the perfect fit for his organisation.

In 2005, Signatures Homes Geelong started ‘Signature Charity Foundation’, which has raised over $550,000. 

In that period, Signature Charity Foundation has supported many worthy causes, with their distinguishing feature being “little things make big differences.” 

Mr Watts said his Foundation decided to support Geelong Connected Communities because there was a strong alignment between the values of the two organisations.

“We’re very excited with what we are doing with Geelong Connected Communities,” Mr Watts said.

“It’s all money that has been raised in Geelong, so it makes sense to move that across to Geelong Connected Communities,” he said.

“I don’t think it could be in any better hands so, for us, it is a really good fit.”

As a Major Sponsor of Geelong Connected Communities, Signature Homes Geelong heads up a list of 46 businesses and organisations from Geelong who are supporting GCC as either a Program Partner, Supporting Sponsor or Industry Body.
